DBT Power User blocking other vscode functions

### Expected behavior

No interaction between running dbt commands through the terminal and the functionality of vscode.

### Actual behavior

I was having timeouts and strange behavior in vscode, narrowed the issue down to some interaction with executing the dbt cli in the terminal causing vscode (only with the dbt power user extension activated) to use 100% cpu, dbt power user screens unresponsive, as well as blocking vscode from executing snowflake queries for several minutes. This is new behavior as of version 0.58.0, reverting back to version 0.57.3 fixes it.

### Steps To Reproduce

Install latest vscode/dbt power user extension, execute dbt builds from terminal, try to use dbt power user features.
