dist and r value filtering doesnt seem to work / could be optimized

Observed on 9/11/25 - changing the limits of the r value and dist bars doesnt seem to change anything about the points displayed in the channel intensity plot.

the filtering bars are actually a bit tricky to grab and move as well. it could be useful to add the ability to enter in a specific value to filter, rather than dragging something.
