Hey Carter & team,

I talked to Jerome about this, but we still want to document it here & make sure things are as we think they are. Given how bonsai was utilized across recording modalities & the frame rate of the screen (60Hz), the timing of the stimulus duration and inter-stimulus-interval will vary across trials. For example, in the manuscript, we say the standard oddball stimulus was presented for 343ms with an ISI of 343ms, but these values are not divisible by the stimulus frame duration (16.666ms). Per jerome, what this means is that bonsai actually displays 1 more frame to the mouse. So, in the stimulus table, stop_time - start_time is not 343ms but a bit more. Ok, that's fine, but if you look at my screenshot below, it still does not make sense.

What this means is that the stop_time, Duration, & Delay values might be wrong in the NWBs. Even with this bit of information that Jerome shared with me, the timing doesn't make sense, but he also said the start_time & stop_time are derived values. If the start_times were correct, then the difference between consecutive trials should be an integer if we divide by the frame duration.
