IE Rendering Horizontal & Vertical Scrollbars on Cells

By default IE is rendering horizontal & vertical scrollbars on each cell even though there is nothing to scroll. I removed this by adding -ms-overflow-style: -ms-autohiding-scrollbar; style to the outer div.

This removed the scrollbars by default but now they still show when I hover over any cell.
How can I get rid of this?

I'm not entirely sure if it's an issue with this library but I figured I'd ask the community who've worked with this and hope someone has encountered this before.
