[enhancement] cellEdit mode that allows all cells to show editable field by default

I think it would be nice to be able to have some columns show the text fields for each row by default, so that it is obvious to the user that they can edit the rows (and multiple ones at the same time).

May be able to do some help on this but I'm unfamiliar with the code base so it'll be a while before I can look into how to do this.
