Ability to set search function to "match beginning of string" mode

Basically I'm asking if there is an option to set search to behave like filter with the same value on all visible columns.

Right now in search table example (the one with products listing) if you type for example "odu" nothing is filtered out because it matches prODUcts... There should be a search mode in which row is filtered from the view if at least one of **visible** row values does not start with search string.
