Load data in expanded row on click

Hello,
I'm using the expand row functionality and I load another table inside the expanded row.
To load the datat inside the nested table i'm doing an ajax call and everything work well.
With the explained procedure all the nested table are loaded initially.
I'd like to understand if ther's a way to effectively load the each nested table only when the button to expand the row is clicked.
