V2 _ Change popup modal for home directory to main screen

### Description

Currently after a fresh install of the plugin, the first time user starts the plugin will prompt a modal to popup asking user to select a location for a home directory to store plugin data. Consider the following changes:

- [ ] instead of a popup, make it part of the main screen - less alarming
- [x] prompt user to create a new directory, instead of just selecting, as they do not know they need to have one already-made so they could select it
- [x] have an option to overwrite a selected directory due to potential human error
