user control size of bounding box tickmarks

## Use Case

user would like to configure how large the bbox tickmarks are. Give user a slider or number input for this.

## Solution

limit to a certain fraction of the bbox size (like 1/10 of the longest edge length?)
or use absolute world coordinates?
