option to output mp4 directly instead of pngs

## Use Case

For time lapse sequences, it might make my life easier if I could just directly output a MP4.

## Solution

Offer more video output options. Perhaps start with mp4 and maybe add other formats. This depends on how to integrate such support without having to reimplement things from scratch or rely on users installing their own codecs.
