Setup for add udev rules is not working

I'm following the instructions in [this document](https://github.com/AlfredoSequeida/hints/wiki/Window-Manager-and-Desktop-Environment-Setup-Guide#setup-hintsd) but is not working, even after reboot I keep getting errors when trying to initiate hints daemon.
Seems odd to me because If I manually execute the commands to change the group/permissions of `/dev/uinput` it works.

I'm using CachyOS with Hyprland
