Uninstalling hints

I'm running a super basic Zorin OS setup so GNOME, but I couldn't quite get hints to work the way I wanted it to. I'd like to uninstall it so I don't have it just sitting around on my system but there isn't an uninstall script and I'm new enough to linux I'm not sure where to go to uninstall this.
