trims github pkg names

**Describe the bug**
If the package name in the github has a dot, the value after the dot and the dot is truncated

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Go to https://awesomejs.dev/
2. Click on '+ Package'
3. Enter a package name, for example `dropper.mood`
4. See error

**Expected behavior**
The correct package name in the box `GitHub DataSource: ` and lack of error
