# What is currently missing?
Currently the testkit does not have any tests its self to ensure there is not an issue with the testkit.
# How could this be improved?
In this PR https://github.com/Aiven-Open/kafka-testkit/pull/4 from early in the process we had created a dummy task and connector to be able to correctly test if the test kit framework was working correctly.
It would be great to migrate and update these tests as there have been a number of changes in the interim to the repo.
