(Filtering log) to be able to open it a tab instead of a window

### Issue Details

Filtering log can be opened by either selecting the corresponding item in the main menu, or from the settings page (in the Additional settings tab). Either way, filtering log always opens in a new window; there's no way to open it in a tab instead.

### Proposed solution

My suggestion is to be able to open it in a tab instead of a window.
For reference I'm quoting uBO's approach which I find optimal:

> Hold the Shift key while clicking the "Open the logger" icon to toggle between opening the logger in a separate window or in a separate tab. uBO will remember that setting when you open the logger next time, without having to hold the Shift key.
