Manually enable clients for statistics and query logs

### The problem

There is currently no option for clients to enable statistics and query logs (opt-in).

### Proposed solution

Please add an option for clients to show up in query logs or statistics. Currently there is only the option to ignore, which is counterproductive e.g. when query logs are disabled.
