No JS Syntax Highlighting & No autocompletion

The Javascript syntax highlighting has been an issue for a while and I'm aware that there are other issues about this but there seems to be no care to it!

[Issues](https://github.com/AdamNiederer/vue-mode/issues/110) has been open a year ago! Is there no plan to fix or present a work around this issue?

even other stuff like sass and pug [has been requested](https://github.com/AdamNiederer/vue-mode/issues/108) but there seems to be no care about it (and that issue has been open two years ago!).

is the development on this repository dead or is it so hard to implement? also no auto completion even with multiple setups.

the only thing preventing me from officially switching to emacs is this and if I knew how to do emacs plugins I would've helped but my hands are tied with vim or vscode, especially when it comes to vue development. I hope stuff change in the future

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by reviewing referenced issues #110 and #108, then reproduce the reported JavaScript highlighting and autocompletion problems in Emacs. Done means the expected Vue-mode behavior is defined and both reported JavaScript issues are resolved.
