## Background
Since we abstracted out a `REST client` which uses promises for the `Schemas/Datasets/MappingTables`, we are left with two inconsistent ways to make REST calls client side.
## Feature
There are still REST calls being made with the old utility (e.g. `Runs`, `HDFS`) which need to be refactored. This will make the `REST calls` consistent across the board and solve oddities like (#418) :
