Description

### Feature and its Use Cases

What is the feature?

The Multi-Perspective Comparison View is a feature that presents multiple credible viewpoints side-by-side for the same piece of content.

Instead of showing only a dominant narrative or a single counter-argument, the system organizes perspectives from different information ecosystems such as academic research, global/regional media, grassroots/community voices, and data-driven or historical context.

Each perspective is backed by traceable sources and summarized clearly, allowing users to compare how the same issue is framed differently.

Potential Use Case

When a user views a news article, claim, or trending topic, they can activate the Multi-Perspective View to see:

How academic or research institutions frame the issue

How international or regional media interpret it

How grassroots or directly affected communities discuss it

What long-term data or historical trends suggest

This allows users to understand the broader context instead of relying on a single narrative.

How would users benefit?

Reduces exposure to one-sided information

Encourages critical thinking and deeper analysis

Makes framing differences visible

Provides transparent source-backed summaries

Helps users identify missing context

Instead of telling users what is “right” or “wrong,” it helps them see the full picture.

What scenario does this feature address?

This feature addresses the problem of echo chambers and narrative dominance in online content.

In many cases, users only see one framing of an issue, which can limit understanding and reinforce bias. The Multi-Perspective Comparison View introduces structured viewpoint diversity in a transparent and accountable way, helping users form more informed and balanced opinions.
