Modules keep vanishing on 1.8.9

My modules keep vanishing after 4-5 times of relogging on minecraft on 1.8.9.
**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Go to 'Minecraft'
2. Click on 'Options, the 5zig mod, display, modules'
3. Scroll down to 'See zero modules'
4. See error

**Expected behavior**
I expected this to be fixed after I switched versions.

**Additional context**
I tried to fix the problem by switching to the latest stable release instead of the build release and it still occurred.

The issue describes modules vanishing after relogging in Minecraft 1.8.9. Look for module persistence code, likely in configuration or data saving/loading logic.
