development.log not being written in v0.10.11

In v0.8.x I am seeing log output to the log/development.log, but in v0.10.11, I only see a few lines, than nothing more is written.

Look at the logging configuration in the framework, likely in a config or initialization file. Compare the logging behavior between versions 0.8.x and 0.10.11. Check where log/development.log is written and if there are any changes in log levels or output destinations. Run the application in development mode and trace where log statements are generated versus where they are output.
