Description

The problem is that:

if [ -e /dev/stdin ]; then
 ...
else
 ...
fi

is taking the 'true' path even though /dev/stdin does not exist.
This works for the default 'sh' and fails with the Rocket port of bash as well.

Research direction

Start with builtins.tests and reproduce the /dev/stdin check shown in the issue using the Rocket port of bash, comparing it with the default sh behavior. Trace why the nonexistent path takes the true branch and make the test pass without changing the intended check semantics.
