Description
In this link, you have your own SyncBatchNorm. I have two questions about this.
- Why did you divide it by inplace, not inplace cases? Do you use both cases in your code?
- What's the difference between your "SyncBatchNorm" and "torch.nn.SyncBatchNorm.convert_sync_batchnorm"?
Thanks in advance.

Research direction
Read encoding/nn/syncbn.py at the linked implementation around line 105, then consult PyTorch's torch.nn.SyncBatchNorm.convert_sync_batchnorm documentation. Compare the two implementations and determine how the in-place and non-in-place paths are used in this repository. Done means documenting clear answers to both questions.
