Description
The cut-and-paste process is very smooth. But it does not replace simply having two tabs open, for some edgy cases.
Afaik this would be the only modern Filemanager on Android having tabs, and I would be so excited about it.
Tabs are stylewise a completely different thing on Android than on the desktop. Maybe like in Firefox Android, with a button you press and a big popup showing the Tabs (name of folder, in exceptions subfolder)
Cheers!

Research direction
The issue does not name files, tests, or an entry point. Start by reviewing the current Android file-manager navigation and the tab behavior in Firefox Android, then define the tab-switching UI and folder naming behavior before implementation; done means users can keep and switch between multiple open folders.
