Description

I'm tired of having to remove/add my SD cards and other external storage when I use them. I've never had this issue with Cyanogen File Manager (when it existed) and Root Browser. I can't even add my SD card on one phone because it just doesn't show when I try to add it. Why does this app have to be different and painful when I just want to use something that used to require 0 configuration?

Research direction

Start by reproducing the missing SD-card and external-storage behavior on the affected phone, then compare it with the file managers named in the issue. Inspect the existing storage-add flow and Android storage handling before defining what automatic detection should cover. Done means removable storage appears without manual remove/add steps and can be added on the affected device.
