Description
I login to my local ftp using my linux's username and password. This app allows anyone with access to your phone to edit your ftp connection and display the password which is a security risk. Showing password should only be possible when creating a new ftp connection.

Research direction
Start by locating the Android screen for editing an existing FTP connection and the password visibility control, then compare it with the new-connection flow. Done means an existing connection's password cannot be displayed while creating a new FTP connection still permits showing it.
