Description

An option to create an uncompressed .tar archive would be useful when archiving a large amount of files. This could be useful for backing up your phone when you need to copy your files to another device.

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by locating the existing archive-creation flow and its compression options, then determine where an uncompressed TAR choice belongs in the Android file manager. Done means users can select that option and create a valid uncompressed .tar archive for selected files.
