Description
Version 1.2.1 seems to be better at transferring large files via SMB as version 1.3.1 is showing many error messages repeatedly while attempting to transfer files. With a large selection of files, Material Files fails to move files to an SMB share and causes the phone to overheat. The files that have issues tend to be DNG files larger than 25Mb while small JPG images seem to transfer ok.
See below examples of repeating error messages:

Research direction
The issue names no files, entry points, or tests. Start by reproducing a large DNG transfer to an SMB share on version 1.3.1 and compare it with 1.2.1, then trace the repeated error messages. Done means large files transfer successfully without repeated errors or the reported overheating.
