Description

Research direction

The issue names no files or tests. Start by defining how a content-type:app standard folder should expose installed apps and how backups, including split APKs, should behave; confirm the Android APIs and acceptance cases with maintainers. Done means the agreed app listing and backup behavior is implemented and verified.
