Description
If you need to quickly look at some Markdown file with nested lists, and you don’t have a dedicated Markdown editor on the phone, and you use tabs, not spaces, it’s hard to read.
Also, just in general, rendering a tab is 1–2 spaces is a crime.

Research direction
Reproduce the problem in the Android text editor with a Markdown file containing nested lists and tab indentation, then locate the text-rendering entry point. Done means tabs are displayed as four spaces rather than one or two, while the existing Markdown rendering remains usable.
