Description

nothing cmf phone 1, nothing os 3.2(android 15), material files version 1.7.4, installed via f-droid basic.

tf "disk space free" info on top left doesn't update while ftp server is running, unless i stop the ftp server and quit the program and start material files again.

  • i only find a workaround by clicking the "+ Add storage.." and add something (say Android/data), then the space free count for others will be updated

what i am asking is there should be a way for the top left space free count to update, at least on-demand, without using the workaround showed above

Research direction

Reproduce the stale “disk space free” count on Nothing Phone 1 with Nothing OS 3.2, Android 15, and Material Files 1.7.4 while the FTP server is running. Start by tracing how the top-left count is refreshed and verify that it updates on demand without restarting the app or using the “Add storage” workaround.
