Description

Trying to open a file from an smb mount in another app and then save I get a permission error. Is there a setting in the app for permissions?

If i use cifs documents provider and open from there, i have full permissions.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the permission error when opening an SMB-mounted file in another app, then compare it with opening the same file through the CIFS Documents Provider. No source file or test is named; done means identifying whether MaterialFiles needs a change or a documented setting so the file can be saved successfully.
