Description

I would be delighted if Material Files could use for the sake of renaming files the same approach of Fossify File Manager, it's really really helpful and comfy to use:

Rename

And maybe (but I guess it would be another request) a multi-file batch renaming function would be awesome as well.

Research direction

No source files, tests, or entry points are identified in the issue. Start by locating the rename dialog in the Android application and compare its current behavior with the attached Fossify File Manager example; done means the filename and extension can be handled separately, while batch renaming remains out of scope.
