Snap of Zerotier in Ubuntu store is WAY out of date (almost a year)

I was going to intall the snap of zerotier from the Ubuntu store, but when I saw the version (below) I'm wondering if it's wise to do do. It says it hasn't been updated since November of last year.

What is the timeline for updating this? Any time soon?

Install (be sure to use sudo)

sudo snap install zerotier

Join your network

sudo zerotier join <nwid>
sudo zerotier status
