Add TypeScript types for helpers

**Feature request**
It would be great to have export for controllers.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_export` with default `false`.

Start by locating the existing helper and controller exports, the TypeScript type definitions, and the configuration handling. Clarify whether the goal is exporting controllers, adding helper types, or both, then verify that the new configuration option defaults to false and that the requested exports are available.
