Improve types performance

**Feature request**
It would be great to have pagination for types.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_pagination` with default `false`.

No files, tests, or entry points are identified in the issue. Start by locating how types are represented, paginated, and configured, then determine the expected production behavior; it is done when pagination works behind enable_pagination and the default remains false.
