Improve models performance

**Feature request**
It would be great to have export for controllers.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_export` with default `false`.

No files, tests, export format, or controller entry points are identified. Start by locating how controllers and configuration are implemented, then clarify what “export” means for production deployments and how `enable_export` should affect behavior; done should include a defined export workflow with the option defaulting to `false`.
