Refactor parsers for better readability

**Feature request**
It would be great to have search for lib.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_search` with default `false`.

No files or tests are named. Start by locating the parser and configuration entry points, then trace how library input is handled. Done means library search is available when enable_search is true and remains disabled by default.
