Update components documentation

**Feature request**
It would be great to have timeout for handlers.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_timeout` with default `false`.

No files or tests are named. Start by locating the handler configuration and execution entry points, then trace how options are loaded and how handlers run. Done means a documented `enable_timeout` option exists with a default of `false` and handler timeout behavior is covered by the relevant tests.
