It would be great to have search for components.

Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_search` with default `false`.

Start by checking the repository's configuration handling and helper type definitions to reconcile the title's TypeScript request with the body’s component-search request. Confirm whether `enable_search` and its default `false` are the intended scope; done should include the agreed behavior and matching types, with suitable validation if the repository provides it.
