Improve models performance

**Feature request**
It would be great to have compression for services.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_compression` with default `false`.

No file or test is named. Start by locating the service configuration and deployment paths, then determine which services and compression behavior the request covers. Done means an `enable_compression` option exists, defaults to `false`, and the agreed services support compression when enabled.
