Handle edge cases in timeout

It would be great to have pagination for helpers.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_pagination` with default `false`.

Start by reconciling the timeout title with the body’s request for pagination for helpers. Locate the configuration entry point and helper implementation, then determine where the new enable_pagination option belongs. Done means pagination is available for the stated use case while the option defaults to false; no files or tests are named in the issue.
