Update parsers documentation

**Feature request**
It would be great to have monitoring for api.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_monitoring` with default `false`.

No files, tests, or entry points are named. First clarify which API and monitoring signals are in scope, then locate the configuration entry point and define how the new option behaves in production deployments. Done means monitoring is available when enabled and remains disabled by default.
