Add configuration options for filtering

**Feature request**
It would be great to have export for auth.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_export` with default `false`.

Start by locating the project's configuration handling and the authentication export entry point. Confirm how a new enable_export option is represented and verify that its default is false; done means auth export is available when enabled and remains disabled by default.
