Improve handlers performance

**Feature request**
It would be great to have analytics for helpers.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_analytics` with default `false`.

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating handler/helper configuration and tracing how config options are loaded; clarify which analytics are required and where production results should appear. Done means the requested analytics behavior and the disabled-by-default enable_analytics option are specified and covered by tests.
