Update services documentation

**Feature request**
It would be great to have analytics for components.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_analytics` with default `false`.

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by locating the services configuration and component handling, then determine how analytics should be exposed when `enable_analytics` is set; done should include a documented option with a default of `false` and a defined production analytics behavior.
