Add TypeScript types for auth

It would be great to have filtering for helpers.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_filtering` with default `false`.

No files, tests, or entry points are named. First clarify whether the intended work is TypeScript types for auth or helper filtering, then trace the relevant configuration and authentication entry points; done means the agreed feature is implemented with the requested default and covered by appropriate tests.
