Add TypeScript types for config

**Feature request**
It would be great to have export for hooks.

**Use case**
Many users need this functionality for production deployments.

**Implementation idea**
Add a new config option `enable_export` with default `false`.

The issue names no files or tests. Start by locating the TypeScript configuration types and the hook export entry point, then determine how the new enable_export option should be represented and defaulted. Done means the config types cover the option and hook export behavior is defined for both enabled and default-disabled configurations.
