Description
XcodeGen Version: 2.16.0
Setting Target->Settings->INFOPLIST_FILE updates build settings for target.
If you are using xcconfig updating build setting is not needed and I prefer keeping all my build settings changes in xcconfig.
This can solved by generating info.plist with XcodeGen but it's tedious to replicate plist contents to yaml.
Can we make this configurable? Option could be for all build settings or just Info.plist. It would make sense to have configuration for all build settings as individual flags will be nightmare to manage.
TemplateTarget:
settings:
INFOPLIST_FILE: ${target_name}/App/Info.plist

Research direction
Start by tracing the target settings configuration and project-generation entry points; the issue names no source files or tests. Clarify whether the option applies to all build settings or only INFOPLIST_FILE, then verify that generated projects leave xcconfig-managed settings unchanged.
