Description

I am trying to add a static library in my project, like so:
- framework: pathToLibraryl⁩/lib.a
platform: iOS
type: library.static
embed: false
link: true
The library shows up under the "Link binaries with library". However, it also shows up under frameworks and at the build time it is unable to find the path to the library. Am i missing something in the configuration ?
Thanks

Research direction

Start by reproducing the shown static-library configuration in XcodeGen and inspect the generated project’s library and framework entries. Compare the configured path with the build-time lookup failure; done means the static library path is identified correctly and the generated project builds.
